“Overall fantastic apartment/area. Very clean, safe and quiet area, and incredibly considerate and kind staff. More details below! Getting the apartment: I did this entire process virtually (which was a bit risky, I'll admit!). We did a virtual walk-through of the model apartment on the website with Emma Smith. She was able to answer all of our questions, and helped us understand the differences between available units. We decided to go with a slightly less up-to-date apartment to save a bit on rent. Overall great support, communication, and understanding! Moving in: Move in day was painless, just had to stop into the office, they showed me the apartment, signed some papers, and I was on my way! Emma completed a preliminary condition check on the entire apartment to ensure I wouldn't be paying for existing damage at move-out and put in some maintenance requests to fix some very minor damages we noticed. I was very happy with the apartment, again we decided to go with a slightly less-up-to-date apartment to save a bit but we had brand new washer/dryers which was fantastic! All of the appliances worked great and everything was newly cleaned (floors, counters, windows, etc). Living there: With work I had to get to bed pretty early and noise was never a problem. Well maybe except for the 4th of July when you could see 5+ different firework displays from the balcony haha! So overall a huge plus to not have to worry about noisy neighbors. The apartment worked great for my needs, really enjoyed the walk-in-closet and the huge glass doors that lead to the balcony. Super beautify watching the sunset every night over the mountains. Having a carport was another big plus since hail is so common in the springs. They also let me have a camera on my front door since I wasn't sure if package stealing was common around the area. Turned out it isn't, I also never had problems with weird characters lurking about or anyone trying to get into my car at night. The apartment complex is definitely located on the nicer/safer side of town. Its also maybe 5 minutes away from a Sam's Club and about 10 min from a Walmart for reference! Very easy commute everywhere. Moving out: My family had a unique unexpected military situation that caused us to have to move back to TX. Emma Smith and Britnie Carlyle showed immense understanding and a strong desire to help us out in our time of need. They could have easily dismissed our problem as something that didn't concern them, but they went the extra mile for us and showed that Windtree, at the end of the day, wasn't just in it for the money. It really meant the world to us, and it was a true pleasure being a resident at Windtree. We would 110% recommend this apartment complex to anyone currently looking! P.S. The photos are of our 1Bed/1Bath second floor apartment at move-out since I forgot to take pictures during move-in!”
